Many of my artworks are inspired by objects and images so

ubiquitous that one hardly notices them anymore: street signs,

logos, symbols, characters, and pictograms.  Often, actual lan-

guage has been discarded in favor of simple imagery that is

meant to communicate its message as universally as possible.
